Der Nachfolger von Humbrol MC1 »British Scarlet« ist Humbrol 178 »British Scarlet«. PRIMAcryl 13.317 »Kadmiumrot, hell«, 13.320 »Kadmiumrot, mittel« und 13.321 »Karmin«, oder Vallejo Model Color 70.817 »Scharlachrot RLM 23« und 70.957 »Tomatenrot RAL 3013« sind gute Alternativen.
